Policy

Revision date: January 21, 2024
Mango Mail is an American company based in the state of Florida. All services provided by Mango Mail may be used for lawful purposes only. Transmission, storage or presentation of any information, data or material in violation of any United States federal, state or city law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material, material we judge to be threatening or obscene, or material protected by trade secret and other statute. Mango Mail cannot be held responsible for any claims of damage resulting from the use of services by the subscriber or any other party.
Functional service is defined as the ability to send and receive email that does not trigger our spam filters or rate limits. Failure to properly configure DNS will not be considered as breaking the service's ability to function as sold.
The domains that you add to our system should be legitimate, managed by you or your customers, and not related to any spam/scam activity in any way. We reserve the right to decide what is spam/scam based on the information we learn. This includes, but is not limited to: domains that are intended to impersonate another domain you do not own, domains that attack or otherwise affect the user in ways they are not informed, or any other domain harboring malicious content.
Any attempt to undermine or cause harm to a server or customer of Mango Mail is strictly prohibited. As our customer you are responsible for all your accounts. This includes abuse of the server's CPU and RAM resources to a degree that affects the performance of other customers on your server. Should you violate the Terms of Services outlined within, your account will be cancelled without chance of refund. If you abuse system resources, you will be contacted and offered options for accommodating or reducing usage prior to having your service terminated. Abusive processes, however, will be shut down prior to our attempts to contact you.
You are required to have valid SPF and MX records on domains that send through our service. Failure to do so will result in reduced sending reputation for your domain and Mango Mail IP addresses, which may result in termination of service to ensure high quality sending for other customers. The SPF, MX, and other DNS records are provided to you in the DNS Setup page of any connected domain.
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel or suspend service, at our sole discretion.
We are unable to provide services to the following customers:

  1. Leak forums. These are forums where users share compromised accounts for internet services.
  2. Adult forums. These are forums where users trade pornography.
  3. Excessive number of emails sent to qq.com.
  4. Deceptive use against third party services such as creating several accounts for a website using a catchall and randomly generated email aliases.
  5. Forward-only service for massive numbers of domains on one account.
  6. Sending SMS via email.
  7. Bulk marketing email.
  8. Email warming services.
  9. Counterfeit websites.
  10. Sending an excess of emails not meant for human consumption to third party email services.
  11. Fraudulent services or intentional abuse and harm of any kind.
Under no circumstances are Mango Mail customers permitted to spoof “From” headers to display a third party service. You are not authorized to directly send as (meaning the domain in the “From” header) any domain that you do not own or manage.
The number of emails a user can send or receive is based on their plan. We will not immediately reject emails that go over these limits. However, in cases of extreme overage, your emails will be rejected. Circumventing this limit in any way is against our policy and can result in service termination.
If we are informed that a recipient of your email actively clicked “Report Spam” or equivalent button at their email provider, we will block outbound mail to that address. This is interpreted as claiming that you are sending them email they do not want, and the potential damage is to the reputation of your domain and our IP addresses. If this occurs unintentionally, you will need to negotiate with the user and ask us to unblock outbound email to them.
If your email behavior consistently harms the reputation of our IP addresses and causes delayed or failed deliveries for other customers, we reserve the right to terminate service. This includes repeat failures to secure your accounts by using strong passwords, as password security is your responsibility.
Mango Mail will not allow incoming or outgoing traffic to blacklisted domains. We also prohibit adding a domain that has been blacklisted. These actions are taken to ensure the reputation and security of all users on our servers. You can request information on blacklist removal by contacting support.
Accounts are backed up regularly in case of hardware failure. However, backups are not guaranteed and are provided as a courtesy.
On the Plan Activation date of each year, Mango Mail shall charge the client's default billing method, set in the billing tab of their dashboard, with the cost of the active plan along with any outstanding charges or fees.
We do not refund cancelled subscriptions. Exceptions will be made where Mango Mail is found to have failed to uphold it's guarantees. We cannot refund partial monthly fees to accounts.
Any disputes under terms will be resolved on an individual basis. Issues or difficulties with our service should be brought to Customer Support. A chargeback or dispute with our payment gateway or your funding source will result in service termination.
Customers are required to provide accurate billing information on registration and maintain accurate billing information in the billing section of the admin dashboard. Failure to provide accurate information may lead to account suspension or termination.
Mango Mail shall not be responsible for any claimed damages, including incidental and consequential damages, which may arise from Mango Mail servers going offline or being otherwise unavailable. Furthermore, Mango Mail shall not be responsible for any claimed damages, including incidental or consequential damages, resulting from the corruption or deletion of any files from one of Mango Mail's servers. All damages shall be limited to the immediate termination of service.
Violations of these policies should be sent to our Support Team either through our contact form or directly to [email protected]. All complaints will be investigated promptly. Failure to follow any term or condition may result in account termination.
Mango Mail cannot be held liable for system down time, crashes or data loss. We cannot be held liable for any predicated estimate of profits which a client would have gained if their service was functioning. Certain services provided by Mango Mail are resold. Thus, certain equipment, routing, software and programming used by Mango Mail are not directly owned or written by Mango Mail. Moreover, Mango Mail holds no responsibility for the use of our clients' accounts. Failure to comply with any terms or conditions will result in the automatic deactivation of the account in question. We reserve the right to remove any account, without advance notice for any reason without restitution, as Mango Mail sees fit.
Mango Mail guarantees 99% service (POP, IMAP, SMTP) uptime on all hosting plans. Should we fail to deliver this for any given calendar month, your account will be refunded a pro-rated amount for the duration of excessive downtime upon request.
Outgoing spam or unsolicited emails from our servers is strictly prohibited. Intentionally sending spam will result in service termination and a report to FraudRecord.com including your sending details.
By activating your account with Mango Mail, you agree to the above policies and disclaimer. Proof of your acceptance is saved on our servers.
If you request account termination, Mango Mail will wait 30 days before deleting any data associated with your account.
Upon failure to renew a subscription, accounts will enter a 7-day grace period. While in the grace period, users will still be allowed to send, receive, and access emails. Once this period ends and the subscription has not been renewed, sending, receiving, and accessing mail will be restricted. Mango Mail will retain emails and mailboxes for up to 1 year after the subscription expiration date.

After a user deletes a mailbox, mailbox data may be retained for up to 30 days from the time of deletion.
Excluding cases of fraud and intentional spam, we do not share your information with any third party. We monitor email logs and login activity to ensure customer safety and service security. We do not read the contents of emails unless explicitly requested by customers. We do review logs that include sender, recipient, and subject when you make a support request.
