As an email service provider, we store and transmit email data as part of our core service. We implement standard security measures to protect this data from unauthorized access. Your email data is stored purely for your own access capabilities through the service protocols (IMAP, POP, etc). We do not read the contents of emails unless explicitly requested by customers. We do review logs that include sender, recipient, and subject when you make a support request. Randomly sampled emails may be used for internal training purposes to improve spam and abuse prevention.
We collect only the minimum information required to create and manage your account. We do not sell or share customer data with third parties for marketing purposes.
When you use our website, we may gather diagnostic information such as IP address. This data is used strictly to facilitate service and prevent fraud. When using our website or webmail interface, we may store cookies for site functionality and necessary third-party service integration.
Mango Mail does not store card or payment method information besides preview data like last 4 or billing address. All card details are processed with Stripe who employs enterprise-grade data privacy and holds the highest level of security certification (PCI-DSS Level 1). Stripe strictly encrypts and tokenizes sensitive data like card numbers, preventing raw data from ever being exposed to us or any other service.
Mango Mail logs metadata of sending and receiving traffic for up to 180 days to detect service abuse, fraud, and enforce rate limits.
If you request account termination, Mango Mail will wait 30 days before deleting any data associated with your account.
Mango Mail will retain emails and mailboxes for up to 1 year after the subscription expiration date. After a user deletes a mailbox, mailbox data may be retained for up to 30 days from the time of deletion.
