Wix does not support creating MX records for subdomains. This means if you are trying to setup Mango Mail on a subdomain, you will need to use a separate DNS host.
Introduction
Before you can start creating mailboxes with Mango Mail, you’ll need to set up the proper Domain Name System (DNS) records. In this case we will be using Wix, but the same steps can be applied to other domain registrars.
Prerequisites
- Create and set up your Mango Mail account.
- Host your DNS with Wix.
- Add your domain through the Mango Dashboard.
Step 1. Go to your Wix dashboard and click on your profile in the top right.
Step 2. Click on "Account Settings".
Step 3. Switch to the "Domains" tab.
Step 4. Press the three dots next to your domain.
Step 5. Click on "Manage DNS records".
Step 6. Use the "Manage DNS records" page to create your records.
Step 7. Create the records shown on the DNS Setup page of your Mango Mail dashboard.
Step 8. Finally, return to the Mango Dashboard and click "Check DNS".
