Introduction
Every once in a while we might forgot those amazingly secure passwords we set for our mailboxes. In that situation, what do you do? Don't worry, there are several methods to regain access to your Mango mailbox in no time.
Resetting Mailbox Passwords
If you forgot the password to one of your Mango mailboxes, you can always reset it from within the Mango Dashboard. Simply sign into the Mango Dashboard, then navigate to Domains > Your Domain > Your Address and switch to the "Change Password" tab. There you can set a new password for your mailbox.
Self-Service Resets
Mango Mail also offers self-service password resets using the recovery web tool if your plan includes it. This allows you to reset your mailbox password without access to the Mango Dashboard in case you are not the owner of the Mango Dashboard account.
Forgot Your Mango Dashboard Login
It's important to remember that the Mango Dashboard and the Mango Webmail are two completely separate logins. The former uses the email and password you used to create your Mango account while the latter uses the email of the mailbox you created and the password you set for it from within the Mango Dashboard. If you forgot your Mango Dashboard password, you can simply hit forgot password at the login screen which will take you to Account Recovery.
